We’re taking our mailing system to the next level – and you’re invited to come along.

We’ve been fine tuning our new messaging system, turning it into the perfect tool for delivering the latest on the best deals and offers. Now we’re offering you your own ShopYourWay email address – a single inbox for all deals and benefits.

This comes hot on the heels of adding Kmart promotions and Sunday promotions emails to existing messages, to make sure you don’t miss a thing. Create your own @sywmail.com email box, and direct all offers and coupons to one place. Comfy.

Speaking of messages did you notice, while looking for them on the left navigation – did you notice the change?

Yes, it’s the new left navigation! Slicker, prettier, better. Aside from looking better, we made it more comfortable to use. It’s now divided into four sections:

  • Shop by – letting you easily find the venue you’re looking for.
  • Manage – handle your stuff on the site, like catalogs and interests.
  • Apps – our ever growing list of great applications.
  • Learn more – help pages, information about various programs – all you need to know about ShopYourWay.

Much easier to use, isn’t it? let us know what you think.

If You Build it, They Will Come

We keep telling you how great brand pages are, and how you should really follow pages of stores near you, or of your favorite celebrity. But why should you just follow? Why not lead?

As of now, you can create your own page. It’s simple: click on “pages” in the left navigation pane and decide which type of page you’d like to manage. A fan page dedicated to your favorite band, a social cause you want to promote, or maybe a brand you like.

The process is automatic and fast. Choose the page type, fill a few details and you’re done. Now you just need to take good care of that page and make it as interesting and fun as you can.

Help is on the Way

A cool new feature in our search engine: if you search for an answer to a support related question – the whereabouts of your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS number for example – you’ll get an automatic help message, directing you to the relevant help page. Helpful, we know.

We’ve got some more great stuff: check out your catalogs, and you’ll see a new feature on the top right – the new comments section. This is the place to discuss the catalog, make suggestions and see what other people think about it. Go ahead and try it.

Last but not least: We’ve got a great tool for you shoppers. when you check out a product you’ll be able to see related products that you may find interesting as well. For example, if you’re going to buy an iPod, you’ll see cases for the Apple music player, earphones etc. This is a great way to save time and effort and get all the stuff you need in one place.

Major Changes in Cliques and Christmas Too

‘Tis the season, right now, and we’ve got several reasons to be jolly. As you can see by our decorated logo we’re deep into the holiday spirit, with 2 new cliques: Present Hunters and Christmas Decorators. All you Christmas enthusiasts are invited to share your wishlists, decoration tips, tree pics and so on.

And speaking of cliques, we’ve made some major changes to all of them. Visit your favorite clique and check it out: on the left navigation you can see a products link. Clicking on it will give you a list of all items relevant to your clique’s topic. Nifty. Following the bookworms clique? You’ll see books, E-readers, armchairs for comfy reading and lots more.

But that’s only the beginning. Cliques are no longer a closed members only club. Let’s say you don’t want to follow the Joggers clique – not ready to commit to it just yet. Yet you do have sage advice for runners. Well just go ahead and speak your mind. As of now, non-members can express themselves on cliques freely too.

And last but definitely not least: follow a clique and you’ll notice your newsfeed just got way more interesting. How so? Say you’re a Fashionista at heart. Start following our fashion clique and notice how your newsfeed starts filling up with great clothes, shoes, jewels, accessories and what not. We’re just smart like that.
